The Development Matters document contains guidance for Early Years & Foundation Stage (EYFS) teachers and practitioners to follow in order to meet the statutory requirements of teaching children aged 0-5. It is split into different areas of learning and different age categories, some of which overlap, because every child is different and does not necessarily develop at the same pace. This helpful document above summarises it into each area of learning.
