Class 4 - Castle - Mr Bullock & Mrs Rigby
Welcome to our class page. Our teachers are Mr Bullock and Mrs Rigby, and our teaching assistant is Mrs Carney.

PE
This half-term, PE will be on Wednesdays and Thursdays, so please come to school in PE kit on these days. PE kit should be a navy t-shirt and black or navy joggers/pants. A lighter blue or white t-shirt will be acceptable.
Year 6 will be swimming each week on a Thursday afternoon this half term also.
Reading
Our expectation for reading is to read at least 3 times per week and each one recorded in reading diaries. Diaries will be checked twice a week on a Tuesday and Friday. However, reading books and diaries should be brought to school every day.
Homework
Homework will be set every Friday and expected to be completed by the following Wednesday. This will consist of a Maths activity (TT Rockstars or other), an English activity (writing/spag/reading), and a Spelling activity (Spelling Shed or other). The activities set each week are detailed below.
Homework due Wednesday 22nd October (last one of half term)
Maths: Complete ‘Prime Numbers’ on SeeSaw.
English: Complete Poetry Competition for those who want to enter. *This needs to be handed in by Monday 20th October, to be posted by the deadline Friday 24th October.
Spelling: Play ‘Hangman’ with someone at home using the words listed in Reading Records for our ‘silent letters’ pattern. You can uploads pictures of paper to SeeSaw for this activity. The words we are practising are: doubt, thistle, castle, island, lamb, numb, crumb, solemn, knight, knock, loch, ghost.

Maths: Complete ‘Common Multiples’ on SeeSaw.
English: Complete ‘Precise Verbs’ on SeeSaw.
Spelling: Complete the spelling activity ‘Word Sorting’ provided on paper for our ‘-le at end of words’ pattern. The spelling words are listed at the bottom of our Reading Records. *Some words may belong to multiple columns!
The words we are practising are: table, apple, bottle, little, middle, available, vegetable, vehicle, muscle, multiple, riddle, able.
