On Friday 8th July, we went to New Brighton Beach with Class 1. We started our day by looking for different things on the coast. We had to find the lighthouse, fish and chip shop, amusement arcades, sea wall and lots more. After that, we headed to the RNLI. They taught us all about the tractor and boats they use. They showed us their kit and even let us get on the boat. Can you believe it is 8.5 metres long?! Lynn and Connor were so informative and they were so impressed how much we remembered from our learning back at school. After Lunch we all had a play on the beach. We collected shells, made sandcastles and even made a huge holes. We had the best time and learnt a lot.
